Celebrating the Impact of TogetHER’s Cervical Cancer Grants Program

Dear Supporter,

Cervical cancer is the only cancer the world can realistically eliminate—but only if women and girls have access to HPV vaccines, cervical cancer screening, and timely follow-up care, no matter where they are. Local communities already know what works. With the right resources and collaboration, grassroots solutions aren’t just more affordable—they’re more effective.

We at TogetHER know this from our first-hand experience working with innovators and advocates through our Cervical Cancer Grants Program. After six years and thousands reached with lifesaving services, we’re thrilled to share a new report that summarizes the Grant Program’s outsized impact and profiles the tremendous organizations we’ve been privileged to support.

Still, we know there’s so much more to do. The number of applications has exploded in recent years, revealing a world filled with passionate problem solvers ready to save women’s lives. In 2026, we’ll be renewing our focus on our grants program to tell the stories of our 2025-2026 cohort and launch a campaign to expand our support even further.

Click here to read our new Impact Report and learn about how much we’ve been able to accomplish in such a short time.

Cervical Cancer Awareness Month 2026

Every January, advocates for women’s health join together to mark Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, celebrating our progress toward ending this preventable cancer and reflecting on the significant work left to be done.

It’s also a great time to get inspired by the cervical cancer prevention work being done around the world for women and girls. We’re currently in the middle of Us vs HPV Week, organized by the Global Initiative Against HPV and Cervical Cancer (GIAHC). Throughout this week, they’ll be hosing webinars featuring key leaders in global cervical cancer prevention sharing their accomplishments and posing important questions.

You can learn more about Us vs HPV Week here.

Introducing Jody Hoyos, TogetHER’s Newest Advisor

Last year TogetHER was proud to bring a new group of advisors into our fold, providing guidance on our strategic direction and helping us build critical connections. Today we’re excited to add a new advisor to our list.

Jody Hoyos is the Chief Executive Officer of the Prevent Cancer Foundation, the only U.S.-based nonprofit organization solely dedicated to cancer prevention and early detection. Since taking the helm as CEO, Jody has led the Foundation in revitalizing its mission and vision, and creating a more strategic direction for the Foundation’s next decade and beyond. As CEO, she has become the Foundation’s lead spokesperson, championing the Foundation’s signature campaign, Early Detection = Better Outcomes.

TogetHER is grateful to Jody and to all our advisors for generously providing us with their experience and insight. Click here to see the full list of these incredible women.

As I sign off, I’d like to mention two exciting developments from our partners:

Thanks for reading, and for all you do to put this preventable cancer in the history books.

In partnership,

Heather White
