Prevention is the Point. That’s Why We’re Launching our 2026 Funding Campaign.

Dear Supporter,

Today, many women and girls around the world still face barriers to screening, vaccination, and early treatment to prevent cervical cancer. Not because solutions don’t exist, but because access does not.

The science works. The tools are affordable. But the last mile requires community leadership.

That’s why TogetHER for Health’s Cervical Cancer Grants Program invests directly in innovative community-driven solutions that expand access to high-quality preventive care and treatment.

Now it’s time to take the next step.

Today we’re launching our Prevention is the Point campaign to raise $175,000 to fund five organizations through our Grants Program in 2026. Each of these grants provides a cervical cancer prevention project in a low- or middle-income country with the catalytic funding it needs to generate health impact and attract new support. Keep reading to learn more about this program’s outsized impact.

There is a funding gap. There is an access gap. You can help close both.

Advocacy and Storytelling Training for Gynecologic Cancer Survivors in Alabama

Are you a survivor of cervical or other gynecologic cancer based in Alabama? Your story is powerful. Sharing your personal experience with others can educate and inspire.

Join us for a free storytelling and advocacy training featuring storytelling experts, as well as survivors-turned-advocates, and learn more about advocacy opportunities across Alabama.

The event will take place from 9am-3pm on Saturday, April 11th, 2026. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. We will also host a welcome dinner for all participants from 6-8pm on Friday, April 10th. Both events will be held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall in Birmingham, Alabama.

Click here to register for the event, which is co-sponsored by the Laura Crandall Brown Foundation, VAX 2 STOP CANCER, and TogetHER for Health.

The Impact of TogetHER’s Cervical Cancer Grants Program

After six years and thousands reached with lifesaving services, we published a new report that summarizes the Grant Program’s impact and profiles the tremendous organizations we’ve been privileged to support.

This report highlights the goals of our targeted funding, charts the massive growth we’ve seen in the number of applications, and summarizes our impact in terms of health, capacity, and policy. You’ll also get to meet each of our past grantees, many of whom have used our small grants as springboards to scaling their operations.

Click here to read our new Impact Report and learn about how much we’ve been able to accomplish in such a short time – and consider supporting our next round of grants.

We’re thrilled to launch our new funding campaign to sustain the impact of our Grants Program, and we’re humbled to play a role in elevating the voices of cancer survivors in Alabama. Please share these widely and help us keep the momentum strong!

In partnership,

Heather White
