Support Cervical Cancer Elimination with a Year-End Gift

Dear Supporter, 

As we approach the end of 2024, we at TogetHER for Health want to express our deep gratitude to our many partners and fellow champions for cervical cancer elimination as we reflect on our work this past year.

No matter what form it takes, support for our work is making a difference in the global fight against this preventable killer of women. Our small but mighty team is proud of our accomplishments in 2024, including: 

• The latest funding round of our Cervical Cancer Grants Program, which received an astounding 228 submissions from 44 countries in May 2024. We were thrilled to provide awards to CureCervicalCancer, Slum and Rural Health Initiative, and Teal Sisters Foundation;
   
• Being tapped to moderate a conversation convened by the White House Cancer Moonshot team in late January focused on the need for renewed global engagement by the United States; 

• The publication of our sixth annual report summarizing funding for cervical cancer prevention in low- and lower middle-income countries, centered around our concern that investment in cervical cancer screening and treatment in these countries is not keeping pace with global commitments; and

• Our summary of the landscape for pooled procurement of HPV diagnostics as a means to reduce the costs of high-performance cervical cancer screening in low-resource settings, incorporating the perspectives of stakeholders from manufacturers, global health procurement organizations, and program implementers. 

In the year to come, each of these projects will take on additional meaning in an evolving landscape. Changes in global and national leadership forebode a real concern that already-insufficient support for women’s health programs will take a step back, putting millions of lives at unnecessary risk. 

TogetHER will continue to fight to end cervical cancer everywhere, regardless of the environment, but it’s in our name: we can’t – and won’t – do it alone. As 2024 winds down, please consider donating to TogetHER’s mission of eliminating cervical cancer forever. Even small contributions go a long way toward our small team’s outsized impact.
