Answers to Questions Regarding TogetHER’s Cervical Cancer Grants Program 2023-2024 Funding Round

TogetHER’s Cervical Cancer Grants Program aims to provide small, highly targeted grants addressing demand and supply barriers that prevent access to the life-saving cervical cancer prevention services in low- or middle-income countries (LMICs). These catalytic investments directly improve the lives of girls and women and trigger systemic health improvements such as policy changes, regulatory approvals, and the development of tools and strategies adaptable across the health system.

TogetHER is currently accepting submissions from non-governmental organizations for its second round of funding through the Cervical Cancer Grants Program. Questions regarding the application process and the Request for Proposals could be submitted to TogetHER until Friday, February 3rd, 2023. Can prior recipients of Cervical Cancer Grants Program funding apply?Projects that have received prior funding through TogetHER for Health’s Cervical Cancer Grants Program are eligible for consideration; however, applicants must provide a clear and compelling rationale for any additional program support, along with a demonstrated track record of success regarding any prior funds received. 
What is the indirect cost policy of the Cervical Cancer Grants Program?There is no formal indirect cost policy and/or % limit for indirect costs for budgets submitted to the Program. However, applicants are strongly advised to submit budgets that are reasonable and show value for money. 
What are the proposal formatting requirements (margin width, font type and size, etc.) for the Cervical Cancer Grants Program?There are no specifications on format, font size, etc. The proposal should be no more than 4 pages. Appendices may be added for any supplemental information.
Is the $30,000 inclusive of indirect costs?Yes, the $30,000 in funding is inclusive of indirect costs.
What documents are required for proposal submission?The proposal (4 pages maximum) should include each of the items listed on p. 8 of the Request for Proposals under Proposal Requirements. Supplementary material may be submitted as appendices.
