We can’t end cervical cancer deaths without changing the way things are done, especially in low-resource settings. Catalytic support is needed to test innovative new strategies and to influence and inspire new programs that can help women around the world.

TogetHER’s Cervical Cancer Grants Program aims to provide small, highly targeted grants addressing demand and supply barriers that prevent access to life-saving cervical cancer prevention services in low- or middle-income countries (LMICs). These catalytic investments directly improve the lives of girls and women and trigger systemic health improvements such as policy changes, regulatory approvals, and the development of tools and strategies adaptable across the health system.

The Cervical Cancer Grants Program provides support for non-profit organizations via two tracks:

  • Track 1 aims to improve demand-side interventions to increase uptake of all cervical cancer prevention services.
  • Track 2 aims to support supply-side interventions to accelerate adoption of improved technologies in cervical cancer prevention.

Each track awards a single grant not exceeding $30,000 USD and and targets to LMICs, particularly those with high cervical cancer disease burden. Program applicants must to clearly state to which track they were applying. Activities demonstrating catalytic, systemic improvements for cervical cancer prevention are prioritized. Given the limited grant size, funding from Cervical Cancer Grants Program can only be used to complement existing funding for vaccination, or screening and treatment programs.

Our latest Request for Proposals – including specific information on the types of programs funded, eligibility, requirements, and more – can be found here.
