TogetHER for Health and our partners at AVAC are marking World Immunization Week with a new webinar focusing on programs working to expand access to HPV vaccination for people living with HIV, a population that bears a significantly higher risk for developing cervical cancer.

On Thursday, April 25 at 8:00 am ET, panelists from the HIV Survivors and Partners Network, the Kenya Medical Research Institute, and Jhpiego will provide their perspectives on the research, advocacy, and implementation efforts seeking to increase HPV vaccine coverage to save lives from cervical cancer.

Don’t miss this great conversation that builds on our recent HPV Awareness Day Call to Action!

TogetHER is proud to be a founding member of Operation Wipe Out, a partnership bringing together champions from across Alabama’s public, private, academic, and non-profit sectors to save women’s lives from cervical cancer.

We’re gathering on Friday, June 21st in Birmingham Alabama to celebrate this critical collaboration and show that the promise of eliminating this preventable cancer as a public health threat is achievable.

More on the event – including sponsorship opportunities and information about ticket sales – can be found at www.operationwipeout.org/nightout.

For TogetHER for Health and others working to make the global elimination of cervical cancer a reality, 2023 represented a year filled with reminders that no single organization will achieve this ambitious goal alone. This spirit of collaboration resulted in exciting developments and the formation of new partnerships and initiatives dedicated to ending this preventable cancer.

Learn more in TogetHER’s 2023 Year in Review, summarizing our efforts to change the unacceptable status quo in which far too many women continue to be diagnosed with cervical cancer globally, resulting in 349,000 preventable deaths every year.
